I don't know about you but when I leave a jump spot for a couple of years and return to find it properly done up what do i say? safe.surely we should be glad that where we left, someone has built something really worth riding. Well apparently this is not always the case. Why do some people think they own the trails when they leave them for several years. this guy i am talking about never did any digging and only ruins other peoples jumps. Well he turned up at bucks on monday and guess what... he was ruining jumps people had spent their sunday digging. For somereason he dislikes us digging there although all the peopl he looks up to r cool with us. He thinks he is superious but cant hack a little step-up. I am not saying that cos he isnt the best rider he is gay, but its the fact that he is acting so superior. Well he is trying to ruin r friendships with these othger guys by tellin em we nicked their tools and stuff,er they said we can use em since they were usin rs. Why are people like this, share the trails but dont wreck what other people do, its up to you to keep the sport alive, dont fuck it up!
BIKE FOR SALE
Yesterday I looked along my list of "contacts" on MSN messenger and my eyes lit up when I read " N E want a bike?". Er yes please I thought. It was all looking good, i was looking at buying a nice BMX for myslef until I asked why he was selling it. " Skateparks got shut down."
Why bother riding if when you hit difficulties you will give up???If your park gets shut, your trails get dozed your bike breaks or even ur leg breaks if you give up  you have wasted your time, money and efforts. It may be hard to say but what do you do after you crash out???I know I am a major slave to fear and I couldnt ride a jump after I crashed it simply because I just couldnt hold a bike steady going fast enough to clear the fucker. Since then the fear of that jump has grown on me subconsciously but I will live to fight it another day hopefully. When you crash out on a jump you should really get back up and try again, not everyone does, not everyone can, but thats what you should do ideally.
If you break your bike, your leg or whatever you are obviously gunna b out for sometime till u can fix ur bix or leg, this cld take a day or a year it doesnt matter, it will hinder you. when you are back up what do you do? it would be so good to hear of someone getting back to the trails the day they physically can,  but its rare. All this is understandable but I felt like yelling at someone when I yeard that because their parks closed he was going to sell his bike.
It is so demoralising when you reach the trails only to find some little scrote has ripped apart you jumps, your hours of work, or to go to the park and find a closed sign on the gate, but if we want to ride we have to learn to get over it. Riding is about chilling with ur friends, pumping jumps and tweaking tricks, its about having a good time together. What happened to this guy and his riding mates???he said he doesnt want to ride trails anymore because its boring and he has no motivation to ride. Did no1 tell him trails are beautiful because they are what you make them, did no1 call him up and say if you dont come out ridin we r gunna come fast plant ur door down???Did no1 tell him that numbers and being persistant can get you a long way. I managed to get us a skatepark in wycomber years ago by leaving notes and signs when we went sessioning places saying that we wld stop if we got a skatepark. We called the counsel every day, we sent them mail, we got a skatepark. WHERE IS THE PASSION??? BMX and mountain biking may look like individual sports, but alone you are nothing, together we have spirit, pride, passion for air and wood and dirt. If you ever hear that someone is bored of riding or is giving up because it got tough you sheould be on that phone, if your trails get plowed, get over it, that second set needed rebuilding anyway, if ur park gets closed go to the source, the street.
