Peaks and valleys
All intermingled along
The journey of life
Colors varied of our emotions
Triangles of pain, joy, hope, lust
All sizes
Jagged, sharp edges symbolize
My trials and my tribulations
Dark, dismal, deeply etched into my psyche
Emotions exhaled
Sounds silently sung
Others screamed out loud
Lighter colors, flowing, curvy lines
Sing of hope and joy and promises to come
A future drenched in potential pleasures
All these intricate shapes weave my world
A world of optimism amidst the pain
Trials and tribulations
Hopes and joys
All mine
