The WYN Cluster is small group of stars surrounded by a radiation field thought impenetrable. The Usurper, failed pretender to the Kzinti throne, fled into the cluster to avoid his fate and found that the field could actually be crossed by a fast ship. In time, other races fled to the cluster which is now inhabited by a diverse group of beings. The Orions have taken advantage of the protected nature of the cluster and installed a shipyard there under arrangement with the government
The Cluster fleet consists of heavily modifed warships from the Klingon, Kzinti and Lyran fleet, purchased Orion ships, and heavily armed freighters. |
