NAME MEANING/SIGNIFICANCE: Soliana: daughter of the sun

AGE: 17

HEIGHT: 5'5"

EYES: Deep purple

HAIR:  Long, straight and black with signature purple streak. She wears it tied up in a pony tail, but it has a tendency to fall out, so it ends up looking messy. It's nice and flowy, with spiky ends.

FAMILY LIFE: Sola left home when she was about 12, disliking her situation. She never know her mother, who died giving birth. Her father wasn't the nicest guy (to put it lightly) and her older brother didn't help much there. She was tired of putting up with everything and wearing a mask, so she just up and left.

LIKES: Sunny days, purpleberries and sparkly things

DISLIKES: Rainy days and mud

WEAKNESS: She just LOVES anything to do with purpleberries (combination of blueberries and strawberries) and can't stop eating them.

QUIRKS: Sola has a slight accent that she tries very hard to cover up, but it tends to slip out here and there... especially when she gets mad. This causes trouble, because it can be traced back to her hometown by the people searching for her.

HOBBIES: Writing and telling stories, acting.

APPEARANCE: Sola is an obviously noble-born girl, though she tries to hide it. She is well muscled though, having been a mercenary for a while. She tends to dress in a pair of well worn, perfectly fitting leather pants and a loose cream blouse. She prefers to go bare footed most of the time (some sort of act of defiance to her family... don't ask). She usually wears her long hair tied back, but some of it always falls out, to her dismay.

PERSONALITY: Sola seems like your typical self-absorbed, stuck-up snob... until you get to know her. Those who do usually find out that this is just a front that she uses to protect herself from getting hurt both emotionally and physicaly. To her friends, she is also known to have a good sense of humour and a strange but appealing wit. She does tend to get a little carried away with her stories and playing on others emotions, but usually realises what she's doing and starts laughing before there's to much troubble.

HISTORY: Sola was nobly born Soliana of the house Tironas, in the city of Coojarin. He mother died giving birth to her, which her father seemed to resent througout her life. Her older brother was the usual stuck-up nobleman that youd expect, and made a point to torment her, with support from their father. She took refuge in learing to act to gain pity from others and quickly learned to fade into the backgroung whenever her father or older sib was around. She became tough and defiant. When she turned 12, her father (ever the loving man) decided to hgave her married off to some mean old guy called the Baron Drakkar. Her father claimed to do this out of love, but she knew that this was not true and fought as hard as she could to avoid the marriage. When she couldn't, she ran away from home and made her way by telling her amazing stories and joining a group of stolling players. Her father, of course not wanting to lose the money he would gain from the Baron by marrying her to him, sent out bounty hunters to find her. Meanwhile, since the troop she was with wasn't akknowliging her talent and she was getting borred (as usual), she left with a band of mercenaries that the troop played for. Here, she learned to use weapons and earned a proper living. She stayed with this mercenary group for many years, and on one of her missions she met Ahn, saving him from a load of troubble.That's her situation at the begining of the story.

WEAPON: Fighting staff and daggers, though she can use a number of weapons, having been a mercenary for a number of years

ABILTIES: Sola is so adept at blending into a crowd that some think she can become invisible. She can also make people see the pictures of the stories she tells, though wether this is from some form of magic or simply good story telling, noone knows.... even her. She also knows simple (make that VERY simple) spells, which she picked up here and there that mostly help her with her mercenary work.

ADVANTAGES: Hiding and pretending to be who she's not.

DISADVANTAGES: Will do anything for purple berries and is rather squeemish around rats.
