A Friend In Need
What do you do when a friend seems so deep in despair, you try to help the best you know how and show that you care. You ask all of the questions, seeking all of the answers, what do you do when nothing seems to really matter. You sit there and worry because that's what a friend does, wondering what has brought on all of this, what is the cause. How do I get through to you and help you to see, that no matter how bad it is, tomorrow will set you free. The hardships and lost dreams you may no longer see, will turn around and once more they will be. Your heart has been broken, torn apart at the seams, your memories are vivid and real as they seem. You heart is full of darkness, no light seen in sight, how do I help a dear friend with this plight. I am here my friend for whatever you may need, even if it seems to be the biggest problems indeed. I always have a shoulder to lend you to lean on, I always have an ear to listen when all seems gone. I will have the comforting words to cheer you up, till the love runeth over from your flowing cup. My reasons are simple, easy, and forward, when a friend is in trouble, I am no coward. I rise to the occasion with whatever means I can, to help a friend up and to stand proud once again. Because the true measure of friendship, is no easy deed, but to always be there to help A Friend In Need. Copyright February 16, 2002 |

Darkness
Where do you start when your world's torn apart, the words that were said, like a knife through the heart. I love you, I want you, I need you to stay, wanting to believe, but knowing there's no way. The darkness is falling, the end is near, for true love is dying, if you listen, you'll hear. A whisper on the wind of times soon to come, missed by so many, and heard only by some. The stars no longer shine brightly in the sky, they weep for a love that has now passed me by. The clouds roll in, the thunder crashes, watching all my dreams go up in ashes. The rain starts falling heavy and long, hiding my weeping from love's lonely song. The storm keeps growing stronger, for a love that is no longer. By the break of dawn's early light, the heart does realize it has lost the fight. Where once happiness and sunshine once reignes, only the pieces of a broken heart remained.
