Sitting here all alone with you on my mind,
you are a friend, a true treasure to find.

When you are happy beyond compare,
a friend is with you, to enjoy and share.
When you find love and are so happy,
a friend is beside you, both being sappy.
When the day comes I must leave this being,
a friend will know its true meaning.
When the day comes you think you're alone,
your angel will com and say "I'm always in your heart, and I've never been gone."

I dream of a world and time without any pain,
when happiness pours down, instead of the rain.
I hold this dream dear, and close to my heart,
not knowing how to get there, or even where to start.
Knowing that anything is possible, when set in my mind,
every dream can come true, when given enough time.
Hope is around the next corner, or maybe a bend,
but never giving up, never letting chance end.
Filled with a passion, and a love for each life,
taking a step forward, no matter how slow the stride.
Chasing each rainbow, along with each falling star,
overcoming the past, but remembering its last scar.
A dream is a wish that only your heart can make,
but it takes faith and strength to keep it all straight.
When it seems that your life is falling apart at the seam,
make a wish, then close your eyes, to find.. The Dream.

Whenever I felt alone, or like no one was near,
you came, took my hand, and ended that fear.
Whenever I felt lost, and not sure where to go,
you came beside me, and showed me the way.
Whenever I felt sad, or like life was too rough,
you came down from heaven, and saved the day.
Whenever I felt hopeless, or down and blue,
you came to cheer me up, help me get through.
Whenever I felt fear, or couldn't stand to cope,
you came to encourage me, to renew my hope.
Whenever I felt happy, about to burst at the seams,
you came closer, to help me chase those dreams.
Whenever I felt anxious, or afraid of the future,
you came along, to love and to nurture.
Whenever I awoke to a nightmare in fright,
you came to me, and held me so very tight.
Whenever I felt the day I would meet my death,
you came to my side, as I took my last breath.
