The innocent hiding in the shadows, where it's dark,
words said in anger, have already left their mark.
Your words have already torn and shredded the heart,
you didn't seem to care, or you wouldn't again start.
You don't realize what pain you can easily cause,
have you ever stopped and thought, taken a pause.
Afraid to cry alous, for they may be heard,
so they slip away slowly, without a single word.
The fear within their soul growing with every passing day,
you don't care, you always know the wrong thing to say.
They are the forgotten, the nameless,
the innocent ones you've hurt, you're shameless.
They reach out to hold you so full of love,
but you didn't realize your gift from above.
You've ruined their once trusting heart, loving ways,
killing them more and more with the passing days.
It wasn't their choice to be born and live,
maybe someday, their hearts can forgive.
I wonder if you've noticed, if you've ever seen,
to the innocent, you're nothing more then mean.

I don't always tell you how wonderful you are,
when I'm lost, you're my guiding star.
When I'm lost, you help me find the answers,
you're the answer to all of my dearest prayers.
When I'm angry, you calm the savage beast,
make me laugh and smile, to say the very least.
You know my moods, you seem to read my thoughts,
you love me completely and truly, without any doubts.
You accept who I am, both the good and bad,
before finding your love, I was a lonely nomad.
Searching the world for the love my heart seeks,
knowing the promises you make, you shall keep.
You are the half that again made me whole,
your love is a treasure, worth more then gold.
You are the smile shining on my face,
you are the reason for new dreams to chase.
I shall one day take away all of your pain,
then only love and happiness shall remain.
The love we shared shall be immortalized,
for we both awoke, to find, The Dream Realized.
