Starr Langley
ISTJ
The Myers Briggs Personality Test classifies me as ISTJ. The character traits for ISTJ describe me perfectly, according to my family and friends.

I am:

Structured:  Everything I do in life (events, chores, fun times, etc.) is planned ahead of time.  I am not a spontaneous person.

Persevering:  I work diligently on anything I attempt until the job gets done.  I will work long hours until the task is completed. This can be annoying to family members, especially my husband. Work always comes before pleasure.

Faithful/Loyal:  Married 40 years and still counting can be attributed to this character trait.  I value commitment, tradition, and stability.  However, I expect the same in return.

Natural Leader:  Although I don't seek positions in leadership, I seem to attract them like flies on honey.

These are just a few of the qualities that I possess.  If you would like to know more, just click on the ISTJ site above.

In addition to the ISTJ description, I would like to share that I have one loving daughter, and two grandsons who are the light of my life.

I am very involved in my church activities such as choir member, children's church bible story leader, nursery worker, Bible School teacher, assistant Sunday School teacher, and volunteer for other activities, but my family comes first.

Students are my number one priority from Monday through Friday.  Because of this factor, I received my Master's Degree in Middle School Education in 2002. In addition, I was awarded the "Middle School Teacher of the Year" in 2000-2001. Since then, I was named "Alumni of the Year" for Nash Community College and have my picture on the wall  display at NCC. I am now currently an adjunct faculty member at East Carolina University, as well as a 7th grade Language Arts teacher.

My main hobby is reading, but exploring through traveling with my husband and/or family allows me to enjoy new adventures.
