Me and books are best friends... well right after all my human ones. My bedtime stories were Sir Walter Scott's novels. Thanks Dad! LOL. I still love that stuff. Read "Ivanhoe" and "The Three Musketeers" a bajillion times. I branched out too. David and Leigh Eddings rule. Robert Heinlein amuses me to no end. Asimov of course is amazing. The 'Sword of Truth' series is awesome. The list goes on. I love my own writing too. Ok well when I'm not tempted to burn it. I dislike Hemingway and get a lot of flames for it. But really, what's so great about him? Yeats and Lord are my fave poets. What else? Ah yes, major shoutout to all my writer friends. You guys rock majorly!
Music is a major part of my life. I sing all over the place. I've started humming in the middle of class. Yes, people do turn around and look at me funny. I also dance all over the place. I'm best at Latin inspired stuff. I like to listen to more alternative rock-y stuff. Aerosmith is good. Garbage. No Doubt. Shakira is fun. Meredith Brooks. Alanis. Celtic music is pretty. Emerald Rose. Alchemy VII is nice. Best thing ever, though, is singing loudly with a bunch of friends in a public place. And anything is good for that! Yes, I am crazy.
Plans for the future. Well, I think I want to move to Philly and go to grad school there, regardless of which one. Yes, I just want to bum around at Jen's all the time. And play with her kids and cat! No no, I'll get my own! Mighty Mouse! Ok ok I'll stop now. Anyway, I am thinking of an international politics job. Or a publishing contract. Both work too. Aren't I easy to please? *winks* What else? Ah yes, I will continue to submit my artistic endeavors to Rach's sharp and disciminating eye. Or her shiny red font! Then again, the whole poor writer in Paris thing might... Huh? What? No? Fine! Be like that! LOL. Ok well that's about it. Oh and I'm going to be an aunt in like a half a year! |
