These pictures really don't show how adorable Lexi is - he's very silky, which sometimes makes me think he might be satin. I'm sure that's just wishful thinking on my part :). He really is a doll, the sweetest hamster I've ever had. He loves attention, is never shy with any human, even a stranger. The only time he's vocal at all is when Corey, another male, starts squeaking at him. Then Lexi squeaks back, but it sounds more like a hiss. He loves being held, loves exploring, and is a rare hamster in that he will come when he is called - even when he escaped from a ball once and was missing. I simply called his name and he came to me. His offspring seem to have gotten some of their sweetness from him, too. |
