Misty

Misty is such a little sweetheart. When she was newly weaned I was playing with her and she fell asleep in my hands. I've never had that happen before - it was so sweet! I named her Misty then, which is one of my favorite names. She a very well mannered female and is really getting to be a good size, too.

Misty is a Dingy Black Tortoiseshell shorthair. What a terrible name for such a pretty hamster! All the Dingy means is that Silver Grey is mixed with the black making it a little lighter - not jet-black, but a little washed out. But when the Silver Grey combines with her yellow spots, it bleaches them out to pearl - and isn't that pretty? And I love the little blaze she has going all the way from the tip of her nose to her back.
