Golden Combinations | |||||||||||||||
Golden syrian hamsters are the wild type for the species, so they don't really combine with other mutations. However, there are a few examples here of combinations that don't completely overwrite the golden coloring. I will be adding more pics as I get them. The wild type hamster is shorthaired and unpatterned. The genetic code for golden is wild type, or ++. I will put only the color code below, ignoring the other genes in parantheses as not to confuse. | |||||||||||||||
