Satins
Satin hamsters have gorgeous shiny fur. The gene can slightly thin the fur, but it deepens the color. It is not advised to breed satin to satin, as double satin hamsters can have very thin, unattractive fur. Satin and rex together create a pretty coat, but one that we find catches shavings like a little dust mop (especially in longhairs.) Satins really reflect the light and make especially nice photos. Satin is dominant. The genetic code for satin is Sasa.
