Amerie is John's best friend and has known him since they were children, and she has always had a major crush on him (but he doesn't know... so shhh). She was in the Ranger Academy with him and graduated second in their class, behind him. Having a little more field combat experience than John, she quickly moved up in rank. She is curretnly an S Class Private Ranger. She was sent on a top secret mission to earth to search for a secret power. Unknown to her, the power was evil and it found her first. It took over her body and formed memories of a bully John. Amerie started to hate John, being miss guised that John always thought he was better than she was. When Amerie found out that John had been stranded on Earth, along with Leo, she jumped at the chance to seek revenge. What he dooesn't know is she is just a slave to this evil, who wants to kill him for a different reason.
Her personal history is known to all who live on Marria. She is the last in a very intelligent and wise race that had thrived on Marria for many years. Her parents died when she was 11, leaving all their money to her education as a Ranger. Though, it wasn't her decision. She hides her background from all, though everyone knows it. She hardly even shows her beautiful and rare metal wings, even to John who has only caught a brief glimpse.
