| *Personality* He generally keeps to himself. So, as a result, hardly anyone knows whats going on in that scary little mid of his, except for Sandhya of course. He has a good habit of being able to keep his cool and when he does get angry, he rarely yells. He can also be a bit demanding and gets annoyed if things don't go his way. |
| *History* Maruida was the child of a human woman and a demon. HIs mother was killed when he was very young and his demon father re-married to a female fox demon. Maruida never voiced his opinion on the marriage and just kept it to himself. Soon after the marriage, a child was born. This served as a constant remind to Maruida of his own impurities, being half human. He grew up to be quite powerful though and, at one point, surpassed his full demon half sibling. However, this power wasn't to be his own, as it slowly began to consume him. His own power fueled by grief, hatred, and anger began to take control of himself. HIs half-sibling knew that a stop to this was necessary and desperately tried to save Maruida. Yet, all efforts were in vain. After the death of their father, Maruida's conditino grew even worse. He began to attack his half-sibling several times. The young fox demon became increasingly frustrated and began to return these attacks toward Maruida in hopes to get through to him. Finally, Maruida's stepmother decided to step in and separate the two of them. She made them dormant until their souls could be reincarnated into humans. the fox's soul was reincarnated into a girl named Kit Wood and her older sister, Sandhya, received the soul of Maruida at birth (The fox and kit are now sharing a soul as are Maruida and Sandhya.) When Maruida located the other keeper of his soul, he led the Sandhya to his lair and quickly erased any memory that her family or friends had of her. Maruida lied to her and told her that the fox demon was the one who erased the memories of her family and friends. He also told her that in order to stop any further harm toward her family, she would have to defeat it. This could only be achieved by allowing Maruida to stay inside Sandhya and learn how to fight. Today, Maruida's one goal is only to kill his half-sibling. |
| *Weapon* He uses an ancient katana that was once his father's. He can also enchant it with dark energy and make it much stronger. |
| *Special Notes* Maruida does most of his fighting by controlling Sandhya, because he's still trying to regain all of his power from being dormat for so long. Most of it lies in Sandhya when she's Sailor Ciarda, which is why he uses her most of the time. He's still capable of fighting on his own, but Sailor Ciarda has much more power. Maruida's attacks are the same as Sailor Ciarda's, but he has a lot more. However, because of his weakened state, he cannot use them. |
