Kitchen Witch Poem:

Look who's landed in your kitchen
Bringing fortune to your home
It's me the lucky kitchen witch
Your special little gnome
I'll end burnt pots
I'll keep meals hot
I'll do such magic chores
For I'm your lucky kitchen witch
Keep me safe by your kitchen door.

"Though our tools are modern, this doesn't lessen the culinary mysteries; the kitchen is still the altar upon which the cook's spells are wrought".
Scott Cunningham, The Magical Household

Essential Magickal Kichen Herbs & Plants:

Aloe Vera -- soothes burns and helps heal a cut. You can just break off a stalk and apply the gel to the injured place. Remember to give thanks to the plant for it's gift. The magickal power of the plant help protects the kitchen from those mishaps. Also it is said that to rub some of the gel onto the tools and doors will safeguard them.

Garlic --
a braid hanging in the kitchen helps absorb any negativity. Be sure not to cook with these bulbs.

Onion --
An onion on the window sill is a good magickal protection item.

Sweet Flag Root and Alfalfa --
Both are good for guarding against poverty
I readily admit that I am not a very good sewer, but this is one aim I have for the New Year ~ Samhain. To sew and be more Frugal by doing so!

So I am starting off with  a little project of making a lucky little Kitchen Witch.
I saw her in the Clearance cart at our pharmacy; a cute Witch holding a pumpkin. She was covering a plastic container with candies inside. I had a creative thought of taking the "already made part" of her and attaching it to a cloth body and legs that I could create and hand sew and finding a small broom for her to ride upon.

**I do come up with some Good, Creative and somewhat Eclectic Ideas once in a
Blue Moon! LOL
Then I will hang her from my Kitchen ceiling for good luck and bless her, so she might in return bless my little kitchen with Magick as well.
I will post the finished project as soon as I get her done! Wish me luck!

Blessings!
