"Sometimes"

There are sometimes in our lives that we just need a compassionate ear,
someone to silently listen as we pour out our hurts and frustrations;

And sometimes we need to grieve in silence for things and persons lost to us for a season.

Other times we need to give voice to the disappointments and anger without condemnation,
or even someone's seemingly wise counsel.

Just a listener, just unconditional love from someone.

For that someone to try and understand even if they disagree.

Sometimes the wisest counselor remains silent and allows the Divine to speak to the hurt and anger within us.

The Divine is our Judge, and the Divine is Compassionate to us.

Love is a healer in itself, and prayer the best gift someone can give,
to that other someone who is hurting.

SCOTT CUNNINGHAM'S
MAGICAL PRINCIPLES

*Magic is natural.

*Harm none, not even yourself, through its use.

*Magic requires effort. You will receive what you put into it.

*Magic should not be performed for pay.

*Magic should not be used in jest or to inflate your ego.

*Magic can be worked for your own gain, but only if it harms none.

*Magic is a divine act.

*Magic can be used for defense but should not be used for attack.

*Magic is knowledge of its way and laws and also of its effectiveness. Know that magic works!

*Magic is love. All magic should be performed out of love. The moment anger or hatred tinges your magic you have crossed the border into a dangerous world, one that will ultimately consume you.
