"My Dreams…" Of you and me, sitting in a porch swing, my feet upon your lap. And your hands running through my hair, Gently caressing me lovingly. Sharing quiet times or talking about everything and nothing, Enjoying a breathtaking sunset view of our little piece upon our Mother the Earth. Swinging and relaxing, watching our children grow. Being a part of a Life that matters, sharing with others. Living, laughing, drinking cherry wine and angel kisses. Living within Blue Moon and Blue Stars… in the foothills of a mountain or two. Community, friendships, walking together, Sharing the love with others. Living the dream, instead of dreaming it. Doing this sooner, rather than later. Raking up Autumn leaves, Eating our own orchards crisp apples, Fragrant herbs drying in the kitchen, Tea brewing upon the counter top. Cookies in the oven smelling of spices, A fireplace with wisps of smoke curling ever upwards, Just like prayers to the Divine upon the air. Cuddling under the covers and gazing into a starry night, Swinging to and fro, In our very own cradle of love. Passion and friendship melding, as the moon gazes fondly upon us. "Imaginary" By Evanescence Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming Cannot cease for the fear Of silent nights Oh how I long for the deep sleep dreaming The goddess of imaginary light [CHORUS:] In my field of paper flowers And candy clouds of lullaby I lie inside myself for hours And watch my purple sky fly over me I linger in the doorway Of alarm clock screaming monsters Calling my name Let me stay Where the wind will whisper to me Where the raindrops as they're falling tell a story [Chorus] If you need to leave the world you live in Lay your head down and stay a while Though you may not remember dreaming Something waits for you to breathe again [Chorus] |

"Fine Lines and Lessons To Learn" Walking fine lines, A toehold on what is reality. My arms thrown outwards for balance And to embrace the Spirit upon the Wind. Raising up the next generation, With better values than we had been given, And hopefully a not too jaded sense of hope. They see the world too clearly, all the fault lines. Faults in this crazed world that we try to hide from them in our protecting ways. Faith, Hope, Justice… Are these too much to ask for our children, our children’s children? The world is not completely broken, but it is need of fixing. Let us rally to our Mother Earths despairing cry And bear the burdens too many others have laid down, Giving peace a chance and healing the wounds inflicted Calling unto the Great Spirit, the Goddess or God. Those that we put our Faith in, And whom we draw Strength from. Giving back, going back to right wrongs and perhaps heal ourselves. Let us not give up or give out, By our example the next generations will learn. What lesson is it we wish to teach them? I want mine to be Love, Tolerance and Kinship with all living Creation. Quotes on Friendship "A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out." "A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words. " ~ Unknown |
