Some of you may be wondering what this Star Trek Starship Creator is or wondering if it is worth purchasing, so here is an answer to your questions.

The Star Trek Starship Creator program, (produced by Simon & Schuster Interactive), allows you to customize, create, name, outfit, staff your own starship.  Although not allowing you to actually design your own Federation or Klingon vessel, it does allow you to mix and match at least 10 parts per vessel.  To date you can choose from 11 different classes of Federation and Klingon ships, they include:

Excelsior Class 
Galaxy Class 
Defiant Class 
Intrepid Class
Sovereign Class 
Akira Class 
Prometheus Class
Klingon B'rel Class 

After building your vessel you can staff it with your favorite crew members from the Star Trek universe or import your own crew.  Using the uniforms provided in the Warp 2 version you can put your imported crew into a Starfleet (or Klingon) uniform complete with rank pins.  All the various uniforms are available, even the maroon movie uniforms (my personal favorite). 

After staffing your vessel you can sent one or two out on missions, which you can also create.  A special drag 'n' drop mission building program is included in the Warp 2 version.
