M-O-T-H-E-R
"M" is for the million things she gave me,
"O" means only that she's growing old,
"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,
"H" is for her heart of purest gold;
"E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
"R"means right, and right she'll always be,
Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER,"
A word that means the world to me.
Howard Johnson (c. 1915)

Wonderful Mother
God made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old;
He made her smile of the sunshine,
And He moulded her heart of pure gold;
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,
In her cheeks fair roses you see;
God made a wonderful mother,
And He gave that dear mother to me.

Thank You
Thank you for the endless months you carried me in your womb,
Thank you for washing, cleaning and picking up my room.
Thank you for kissing my boo boos and my owy hurts away.
Thank you for being there when my best friend couldn't stay.
Thank you for an understanding heart and your warm gentle smile.
Thank you for your wisdom, "I told you" all the while.
Thank you for your patience, which was sometimes very short.
Thank you for teaching me values of faith, love and hope.
I Love You
