What can I say...I'm a 44y/o gwm who is very laid back and enjoys the company of family, friends and hopefully again, a life time partner. I live in Greeneville Tn, next to the beautiful Great Smokey Mts. I'm a transplant from Florida, someplace I hope never to return to (to live). I used to be a cross country truck driver, but due to a back/neck injury, I can't currently do that anymore. Hopefully, one day I can. Right now, I'm a music director for a local church , and other than that, just haning out online. I'm recently out of a relationship of 2 1/2 years that I thought was perfect untill it's very painful ending. He was 20 years younger than me, so I guess that had something to do with it, but I'll always love him as I'm of the opinion that we were put together by the hand of God himself. I guess by now it's obvious that I'm a proud christian. At any rate, right wrong or indifferent, I've had my closure and am in the process of healing from my breakup, and am now once again looking for a life time partner. And when I say life time, I do mean LIFE TIME partner. I am a realist. I know that life holds no promises, but I still hold onto the hope that somewhere out there, there is a young person (18-35) who can and will share my values important to a relationship. For me, having a life partner is what makes me complete. Somebody to whom I offer nothing more than a lifetime of love and a heartful of compassion. Anything more than that is just icing on the cake.
Hopefully, this person will be able to not only accept but return love in a real and sincere way. I still believe in storybook romances. I believe that all it takes is courage, total loyalty, truthful open honest communication, and a willingness to grow together. I want a person who can say "I need you b/c I love you" rather than "I love you b/c I need you". I want to be there for this person, no matter what and for him to be there for me. I accept a person and all the baggage that goes along with it, good and bad alike. I want us to share good times and bad, to be there to wipe away tears and say everything is going to be alright. To grow together, to nurture and cherish every moment we have together. Also, I absolutely love to slow dance and hope my future partner will too, as it should be just as wonderful and romantic as any other intimate moment. I come with a built in family as I have 3 grown boys, the youngest in Iraq right now. My family, parents and children all accept anybody I am partnered to with open arms. Further, I'm looking to open my own business soon, and want whoever is with me at the time to realize that what I have is OURS, for our future, and would want them to feel comfortable in wanting to be a part of that dream.
Well, this is already too long so I'll add to this as time goes on and I can figure out how to word anything else.
