IRONY PIE

I suppose the big news is that we are now a company. Because of the sucess of the summer workshop some of us from the group have decided to branch off under the same name IRONY PIE and start our own theatre comapny. Our first production will be at my school Thursday January 18th, 2001. We will perform as a preshow for a Hypnotist. We have written 15 original pieces some from our workshop this summer and also some new stuff. We have recruitted some help and the cast includes Park, Zach, Wes, Tim, Michael, Robyn, Annie, Amanda, Robyn, and Alexis. In the future we hope to launch more independent productions on a small scale. There is some talk of staging a production this summer. No decision have been made at this point regard the structure/organization of the company. We will most likely proceed in a show by show basis.

The picture on top is Ryan talking to us before the big show. Notice I am not in the picture because I am the one taking the picture. The picture on the bottom is Chris and Ryan around this nice guy who lent us his HOOTERS shirt for the show. We met him a CiCi's Pizza an hour before the show started and started talking to him and he ended up going home, washing the shirt and driving all the way back just so we could use the shirt in one of the skits. WOW!
