Imagine all the songs that have moved you, the movies that have dazzled you on the big screen, and the concerts that have had you screaming with thousands of other fans. It takes a unique person to realize the potential of an idea or dream and bring it to life. I hope to use my experience and passion in music to become one of these people. Above all else, my most important career goal is to bring the power of music to others. When most of hear our favorite song on the radio, we usually don't realize just how much potential it has. While listening to the radio can be fun, Imagine seeing the music video to your favorite song for the first time. As you watch the brilliant cinematography and effects give your song both an attitute and a purpose, you develop an entirely new respect for the song and the artist.
Now imagine the first time you see your favorite song performed on stage. As 50,000 thousand watts of sound pulsate through the chests of screaming fans, the air is electrified like you've never seen before. Lasers break through a deep fog, beams of light make the stage glow, and you watch as your favorite song is brought to life right in front of you. As the artist belts out the last few notes, a wave of applause takes over the arena and you realize just how powerful music is. Meanwhile, a group of producers stand behind mixing boards, sound processors and video screens with a unique feeling in their gut. Thousands of fans just saw their favorite song come alive right in front of them and quietly in the background, these producers made it happen. They took a simple hit song and used lights, video, and special effects to make it come alive inside of thousands of fans. They just helped you fall in love with the song all over again, and everytime you hear it, you think about how much power the song really has. Because of the creativity and dedication of a producer at that artist's concert, music has come alive inside of thousands of people.
While the future is full of uncertainty, the best thing any of us can do is follow our dreams. I believe that my passion for music and my desire to influence large groups of people will bring me both happiness and success. |
