Membership is open to all those with an interest in statistics and the objectives of the Society. The objectives of the Society are to further the study and application of statistical theory and methods in all branches of learning and enterprise.


MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

Members

• may apply for recognition as an Accredited Statistician (AStat) or Graduate Statistician (GStat)
• receive the quarterly Australia & New Zealand Journal of Statistics
• receive the Australian Society's newsletter
• receive the NSW Branch's newsletter.

The subscription fee for 2004 is $110.00 including GST for regular members and $55.00 including GST for students and pensioners. An early bird fee is applicable for payments made on or before 31 January 2004 ($100 regular, $50 for student/pensioner).

Members who apply to join between 1 September and 31 December 2004 (inclusive) will have their membership automatically renewed for the following calendar year without having to pay another subscription fee.
