Assoc Prof John Rayner

John Rayner is an Associate Professor in Statistics at the University of Wollongong, where he has been Head of the Department of Applied Statistics (1993 to 1995), Head of the School of Mathematics and Applied Statistics (1997 to 2000), and from this December he is Director of the Institute of Mathematical Modelling and Computational Systems. His research interests are in Assessing Statistical Models (Goodness of Fit) and Nonparametrics. He was for 19 years an academic at the University of Otago (New Zealand) before coming to Wollongong in 1992.
