It then occurred to me that other fans might want to clutter their hard drives so I have made it available here. </p> <p> Contents include: 45 and Album discography; lyrics file (including some unreleased and covered songs); bootlegs title and track listing; involvement with other artists' records; cover versions of Springsteen's songs; contributed cuts to charity and compilation records; Springsteen's production of other artists; video appearances. </p> <p> The database utilizes Windows Help's hypertext linking and Search engine for extreme ease-of-use. If you're running Windows 3.1 or later, this database is for you (sorry Mac and UNIX users). Over 1500 performances!! </P> <P>Using Help's Search function, you can find: all the shows played in Colorado; the only time "Held Up Without A Gun" was played; the first time "Darkness" was played; and all sorts of other inane stuff.</P> <P>This file is also absolutely, 100% free!! Nearly 1800 performances!! <em>PalmBossSets</em> is an iSilo document specifically formatted for use on PalmOS-based handheld devices. Like <em>BossSets</em>, <em>PalmBossSets</em> draws from (without permission) <A HREF="http://www.springsteen.org.uk">John Leach's and Pete Lambie's</A> Web site, Steve Zimmerman's <A HREF="http://tapetracker.com"> TapeTracker</A>, and <A HREF="http://www.backstreets.com"><em>Backstreets</em></A> magazine. </P> <h3>PalmBossSongs 2000</h3> (Size: 195K) <P><em>PalmBossSongs</em> contains lyrics to all songs Springsteen has written, including those performed by other artists. Additionally, many songs that Springsteen has covered are included. Over 350 songs in all!! These lyrics were copied (without permission) from <A HREF="http://www.xs4all.nl/~maroen/engels/bruce.html"> Jeroen Boelhouwer's terrific Springteen site</A> and are presented as found there. <em>PalmBossSongs</em> is also an iSilo document. </P> <h3>PalmBossLegs 2000</h3> (Size: 320K) <P><em>PalmBossLegs</em> contains information about CD bootleg recordings of Bruce Springsteen, including label, format, catalog and location information, track listings and timings, and listener ratings. Over 600 CDs in all!! This information was copied (without permission) from <A HREF="http://www.brucelegs.com/brucelegs.htm"> the deservedly legendary "BRUCELEGS VERSION 4.0" Web site.</A> <em>PalmBossLegs</em> is also an iSilo document. </P> <P>In order to use <em>PalmBossSets</em>, <em>PalmBossSongs</em> or <em>PalmBossLegs</em> you need an iSilo document reader application. Once iSilo is installed on your handheld and you've unzipped the <I>PalmBoss</I> file you downloaded from this site (links below), in Windows Explorer simply double-click on <b>PalmBossSets.pdb</b>, <b>PalmBossSongs.pdb</b> or <b>PalmBossLegs.pdb</b>. This will add the file to the Palm Install Tool---then simply HotSync to install <em>PalmBossSets</em>, <em>PalmBossSongs</em> or <em>PalmBossLegs</em> on your handheld. </P> <P>These files are also freeware!!
