| Welcome to the Offical web-site of Starbase McCoy. The
design of the site was received a much needed face lift. We hope that the new
design will be more user friendly. |

| Starbase McCoy, in orbit of the 3rd planet, Earth, in the Sol system,
is commanded by Admiral Michael Hunt. Among the vessels assigned to her is the
USS Tobias NCC-75487-A, a newly commisioned Prometheus class replacement for
origional the Defiant class Tobias. |
| In 2375, Following the sneak attack from the Breen
during the Dominion War,
one which Earth was not ready for, Starfleet command needed to increase Earth's defenses.
At the time of the attack, Starbase McCoy had been approved and was nearing completion.
It was therefore unable to help defend Earth in its time of need. After the attack,
its completion was made a priority by Starfleet Command. |
