Patriot Ancestors

The following are documented participants of the Revolutionary War.  Additional information on them can be found in DAR records, as well as the military records' archives of the states where they served in the Revolutionary War.  This includes, when available, their birthdates, spouses' names, some of their children, town of residence, etc.  "Patriot" refers to an individual who, because of religious (e. g., Quaker) reasons or family situations, could not or did not serve in the military as soldiers, but pledged written support of the troops, then followed through on their pledges by providing food, shelter, supplies, money, or some other necessity the troops requested.
