As We Know, Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems Are Everywhere!
Many of these "TPMS" systems use dedicated, wireless sensors that are located in the vehicle's wheel & transmit the tire pressure to the vehicle's computer system via radio signal.
The vast majority of these sensors are "Stem Type", meaning that the sensor is part of the valve stem.
Manufacturers are recommending that these "stem type" sensor valve cores be handled differently, installed carefully, & torqued to specification (approx. 4in/lbs).
