Another photo from the south-east corner. Here you can see the semi-improved & graded (though very loose & sandy) main perimeter access trail (road).
You can clearly see that the towers are constructed quite heavy- more than strong enough to hold protective sandbags several layers thick for 'armor'. Though I didn't take pictures or note it on a map-  an interesting cursory obsrvation is that about a mile away (located just outside the post outer fenceline near a 2nd rear closed-off gate along South Access Road) there is a fairly large sand pit that could be used for a 'sandbag detail' to utilize & truck in the required sandbags...though the entire area is pretty much just loose sand under a layer of grass, shrubs, & lichen anyway- so it wouldn't be much of a problem to procure the required protective sandbags or to dig bunker positions along the perimeter. This area could be fortified in a fairly short time, if required.
