Still in the south-east corner. This view you can see nearly the entire compound except for the far south-west corner. This photo gives you a nice idea of the scale of the facility...it isn't exactly as large as I would imagine a "Rex '84" facility to be. You can see the pale yellow latrine building in the not-so-far distance...it's roughly 200-250 yards away I'd guess. I kind of doubt that it has the capacity to hold the several thousand as has been speculated & rumored. Just up-slope from here on an overlooking ridge- as careful as I was trying to remain undetected and concealed inside the woodlines, I accidentally stepped on a length of fishing line (!!)  hidden within the leaves on the ground  and strung between two of the various hasty positons that are scattered around the perimeter(...at least I noticed that I did it!!). I don't know if it was conincidence or what, but just about 15min. later one of the civilian contracted small blue 4x4 SUV "Intercept Security" vehicles that typically patrol the main post, along with a larger unmarked white SUV, was heavilly patroling this area. And I thought that they just stuck to patroling the post!...Of course, I could hear them coming...awareness heightened, I had plenty of time to make myself 'blend-in' before quietly leaving the area in a quick & stealthy manner. Thank goodness for 'ghoolie suits'! So beware if you decide to check this area out for yourself on a 'nature hike'... I have no way of knowing if the fishing line triggered anything or not, but I was quite alarmed at finding it there while I was trying to be careful where I was walking. It would seem to me that if this was some kind of proximity warning device, then there probrably are more than a few security 'falses' from the wildlife that frequent the area that could trip a wire just as easily. At least that is what I'd hoped that the security thought too, since they weren't all that intent on finding me- not that they could anyway since I was well concealed.
