Red or Blue Versions ( 1. over 100 of any item/ 2. pokemon above or at level 100/ 3. safari pokemon in water/ 4. Mew or other pokemon level 7):

1)      To get any of your items over 100, you must first get the item you want more of in your bag as the 6th item. Then go to Viridian City. Talk to the old man who used to block the way to Viridian Forest. When he ask, “Are you in a hurry” say, “no” and he will battle and catch a pokemon. Then go to Cinnabar Island. Surf along the right edge and find a pokemon called MissingNo. It normally looks like a polygon in the shape of a building. Run away from it (do not catch it*)Your 6th item in your pack will have a small icon and a 9 after it. Keep using it if you want but when the picture disappears and a 99 comes up, the 99 is how much of the item you really have left.

* MissingNo, short for missing number, is not a pokemon. It's more of a virus. It will infect your game, making the Hall of Fame disconfigured, and may lock up your game occasionally. It's not really dangerous for your game for which you can restart the game and it's not going to be there. I do not know what will happen if you trade it though. I’ve also heard that if you catch a MissingNo above level 100 and give it a Rare Candy, it’ll evolve to Rhydon.

2)      To get pokemon above or at level 100 all you have to do is the same trick as above. When you surf along the edge of Cinnabar Island(after talking to the old man) you will find other pokemon besides MissingNo below or above level 100. You can catch these and they will change every time you restart the game. Pokemon level 100 can battle but will grow to level 100 at the end( no matter how much experience it needs). Also, use the trick to get over 100 of any item but have it work on a rare candy. Now you can get any of your pokemon level 100(that's as high as it will go). If you use rare candies on pokemon above level 100 they will go all the way to level 255. One more level and it goes to level 0.

3)      To catch safari pokemon in water go to the safari zone first. Then leave and do the same as step 1. You will find the safari pokemon in the water instead of the original you found if you did step 1 before this. This cheat will also work if you go in the grass or water or wherever pokemon appear and they will be in the water.

4)      To catch Mew level 7 first go to Safferon City. Go through the building at the right and move up in front of the door of the underground path. Move down and quickly press the start button so the gambler does not see you. Fly to Cerilian City. He will see you and the music starts up but you fly away before he battles you. Now you will not be able to press start. Go across the Nugget Bridge and go to the first or second boy, not hikers. Make sure he walks to you. He has only a slowpoke. When you beat him go to Saffaron City(you can now press start). Go to the building at the right again but this time your menu pops up by itself. Press B. You will start a battle with a Mew level 7. You can catch it(I would advise you to since it's so rare). Do this trick as many times as you like but with different people on the game. Just make sure you don't battle the gambler.

Gold or Silver Versions (1. Cloning your pokemon)

1)      Save your game one step away the P.C. (not pokemon center). Deposit the pokemon you want to clone. Then change your box. When it says “Saving, don't turn off the power” turn it off anyways.               When you load your game you will have the pokemon you cloned with you and in the P.C.

2)      BONUS: Try this: Get a Mew level 7and trade it to your Gold or Silver Version. Give it a Master Ball and then clone the Mew as many times as you want. You will have a bunch of Mews level 7 holding a Master Ball. You can trade these for some special or rare pokemon. You can clone these new pokemon and give the original back to your friends or to the person you're trading with. You can do all this with the cheats above.
