Full Moon Phase
The Full Moon reflects the golden glory of the Sun, lighting the night for ritual
or planting and other agriarin tasks. Crystals, herbs and oils bathed in this Moon's
light will be energized and ready to dedicate to pathwork. Consolidate efforts to move
toward completion in short~term projects. This is the last of the big energy in
this cycle available for growth., but major undertakings can still be aggressively
set in motion. Look to the mythology of Midsummer to find a more profound
meaning of the Full Moon.
Dissemenating Moon Phase
The disseminating Moon indicates that it's time to start drawing in, the project
set in motion of at the New Moon is maturing. Diets and other works of "letting go"
can only be started now with the waning Moon. As the Moon starts to shrink, the rounded curve of the letter D loses light and the curve now faces the other way,
shaped like a C. This phase is related to the Sabbat Lammas.
Third Quarter Phase
The Third Quarter Moon Phase is the Crone~wise and still very powerful, but no longer fecund. This Mabon Moon continues to power banishing work, expelling illness, negative thoughts, and bad habits. Now is the time to weed and prune in your lilfe and garden. As the work started in the New Moon crystalizes in it's completion, you are already beginning to feel the draw of a new cycle.
Balsamic Moon Phase
The Balsamic Moon provides the three and a holf days you can best go inside yourself
to search out what draws your passions and dislikes, so that you can understand
them and let go. It's necessary to prepare yourself for the rebirth of the new cycle,
even while feeling out of step with everyone else in the current one.
If you missed the power of the Full Moon Phase to look into the future, the last thirty degrees of this cycle are very potent for prophecy work. This phase is related to the Sabbat of Samhain.
The Dark Moon Phase
The Dark Moon rests for three and a half days while she gathers information and lays the foundation to implement new ideas. It occurs just before the beginning of the next Lunar cycle.
