| Baby Shower Spell If you're expecting a baby & want to make you shower a little more sparkly than usual, consider adding a subtle touch of magick. All it takes is a pretty jar, some colorful paint pens, and some wooden craft disks. At the shower, set out the craft items & ask your guest to write fond wishes on the disks. For instance, one might write love on the front & draw a heart on the back. Then collect all the disks in the jar & seal it. | Godchild Spell When you want to bless a new god~child, light a white candle. Gather up a photo of the child. Take the gift you intend to give the child & invite your guardian angel, as well as the childs guardian angel into the space. Talk with them about all the good things you hope for the childs life. Write cards to the child with all the wishes to be given to the child on his or her thirteenth birthday. | Child Protection Spell Take a green candle & anoint it with a warming, portective oil such as cedar. Work from the candle's center down to it's base, & then from the center up to it's taper. Light it at the New Moon, & say As the Moon waxes, so shall this child's power increase Keep him/her from harm. Picture teh child surrounded by the ring of light. The more loving energy you invest, the stronger teh protection. Continue every day until the Full Moon. When the lunar tide turns, light a black candle saying As the Moon wanes, so shall danger diminish Keep this child from harm Visualize darkness fleeing from the ring of flaming light.
