We all should be very concerned about what is going on with the world's rainforests. The rainforest is home to thousands of wildlife that cannot live anywhere else but the rainforest.
The rainforest provides oxygen in the air we breathe and thousands of undiscovered plants in the rainforest may provide cures and medicines for diseases, such as AIDS, cancer, and many more.
Only 7% of the world is covered in rainforest, and every second of the day, an area of the size of a football field is being destroyed. More than 50% of the world's plants and species of animals inhabit the rainforest. Where should the animals of the rainforest go when they're home is being destroyed? They have no where else to go.
