This is my very own page, praising the excellent machine that is (or was) the Sega Saturn. Created in collaboration with companies like Yamaha and Hitachi, the Saturn sported some of the most beautiful graphics around, from convincing 3D worlds to painting-quality animation, all portrayed in a rich palette of colours. Sound-wise, the sound processor provided 32 channels of superb audio, rivalling and sometimes beating arcade machines, and, in Sega's book anyway, only recently surpassed by the magnificent Dreamcast (and hence the Naomi and its incarnations). There is also an additional 24-bit DSP processor which also produces 8 channels of FM sound, and when coupled with the PCM facilities, produces excellent chip-generated music. Though it has faded away from everywhere, it will be remembered as a true gamer's machine...
