A Short Family History

I am Stephanos Kyriazis and I was born on Saturday September 9 1961 in Cyprus. I was brought up in my home town Kerynia, a nothern coastal tourist resort in the north of the island. Along with my eldest sister Themis, my older brother Konstantinos and the youngest sister Christina, we were raised by our parents Kyriazis and Eleni and my grandmother Theopisti, from my mother's side. My father came to Kerynia from Pakhna village and got married with my mother, a Kerynia girl. Me and my family were forced to leave our house because of the Turkish invasion that took place on July 20 1974. Since then we reside in Lemesos, a port city on the southern coast of Cyprus

I met Alona Shapovalova, an Ukranian girl in Lemesos. She grew up in Nikolaev. She was born on Tuesday May 20 1980, and is the youngest of three sisters, the eldest is Sveta and the second one is Olga. They have been raised up by their papa Nikolas and mama Dania

I visited her in Nikolaev on Wednesday January 30 2002, and we got married in Cyprus on Friday March 29 2002 at the Municipality of Agios Athanasios. At the wedding her mother was present as well

Our baby boy was born at 19:35 on Wednesday October 30 2002. Alona delivered the baby with a caesarean section, the baby weighing 3,750Kg. The boy was born at Lemesos New Hospital, located a kilometer away from our house at Karmiotissa Refugee Housing of Pano Polemidia

His name is Dionysis Ellis Kyriazis. Dionysis is given from Alona's family, Ellis after my mother's name Eleni, "Elli", and Kyriazis is his family name
