| Snoop Doggy Dogg was born in October 1972. His real name is Calvin Broadus. He grew up in a broken home in a poor section of Long Beach, Calif. As a teenager he often got in trouble with the law. His nickname "Snoop Dogg" came from his mother when he was a toddler becausebhe looked like Snoopy from the Peanuts. As a teenager ha began rapping with 213 with his homies Warren Griffen (Warren G) and Nate Dogg. He later collaborated with Dr.Dre who is Warren G's step brother. His debut album came in 1993 and it was called Doggfather. In 1996, after a strech of courcases The Doggfather was released. Bothe these albums were produced by Dr.Dre. His album No Limit Topp Dogg came out in 1998 and 2 years later in 2000 he released Tha Eastsidaz. |
