Melaka

Melaka was a very interesting small city. It's history is intriguing as it was an important trade centre and many different nations had once reigned here. My visit here was mainly for some quiet time and to check out some sites someone told me about during my travels.

Sites:

Famosa, ruins of a Portugese fortress. This is supposed to have a some sort of historical relevence when the Portugese were defeated by the Dutch.
