| December 4, 2002: Okay, so I haven't been known to be a blogger, and since this is my first entry and most likely last, I'll just say everything that's on my mind right now. I really didnt want to make a webpage, but I had a lot of free time the week before Thanksgiving break, so I ended up making a site simply out of boredom. (Hence the title of my page) During my annual Post-Thanksgiving Day shopping spree at Staples, I saw an awesome deal on a digital camera, bought it, and now, I realized that I can actually have a lot of pictures on my site too. hehehe (I now know how George feels). Moving on...so Thanksgiving was just a totally awesome time. I basically had three awesome dinners for three consecutive days. Thursday - Thanksgiving dinner at friend's house. Friday - awesome dinner at Pluke's house where I met up w/ a bunch of people that I haven't seen in while but have returned from the horrors of college. Saturday - Jenny/Alice/Timmy's house for another social gathering w/ a lot of food. So yea, besides the food it was just awesome catching up w/ friends that I havent seen in a while. Church on Sunday was great as usual...Pastor Dalon concluded the series on worship, and how we should always have that proper mindset in our lifestyle. "Only by genuinely approaching God in prayer and with humility, can we have a more consistent worshipful lifestyle." So after church, went home, finished laundry, finished packing up my stuff, watched the Charger game (awesome game too...they won!) And finally headed back to school. So, I'm about to head off to my math class at this moment, and I guess it's a good thing that I'm going to classes because finals are just around the corner. AHHH!!! Well...that's about it for now. I promise you, future posts (if any) won't be as long or as mundane to read. Oh yea, I'll be getting a new cell, so if you want the number, give me a IM or email me for the new number. | December 5, 2002: Well, this was an interesting day...I woke up at 8, went to my math discussion, learned that I basically have an A going into the final, and took my last math quiz of the year! So, I got back to my dorm, finshed up Joshua in my devos and ultimately decided to take a nap because I was quite tired. Of course while sleeping someone has to enter and wake me up, and it's Jon Luo (the person who said the night before he probably won't be coming over)... Okay, so I scramble up, and find out he only has 9 minutes on the parking meter (he only had a dime and a nickel) so i actually pop my contacts in my eyes w/o any difficulties (wow, i've come a long way) change, brush teeth, got my stuff together and headed out for lunch all w/o his time expiring. So...lunch consisted of boba at Tap Ex and spicy chicken popcorn thingies. (I asked for medium, but found them to be quite spicy. Delicious, but spicy) So, what does one do after eating such a nutritious meal? Head over to the auto mechanic of course to get Jon's Acura looked at of course. Okay, so that was the highlite of my day. I got back, went to some study sessions for Ethnic Studies (a horrid class, lots of boring reading) only to find that my TA cancelled the session. So I worked a bit on my C++ program, turned it in, and went to my last C++ class of the year!!! YAY!!! So, after dinner, had the official ethnic studies review session, went over to the Campus Crusade for Christ Christmas Celebration. (Really cool). And now, I'm back, just typing on my computer...when I should probably study. Okays....that's it. Laterz! |
| December 6, 2002: This was the last day I had class of the year!!! (Not including finals anyways) I'm actually gonna miss some of my professors, I mean...I sincerely applauded their concluding thoughts/lectures (unless they give me really hard finals, then I'll just be angry) Okay, so I'm pretty relaxed right now even though finals are just around the corner....ahhhh!!!! So I went home today, dropped off some laundry, picked up my new cell phone, ate a huge dinner, went to CBC for fellowship. So John J. talked about whether we are willing to follow God's calling/leading at a moments notice....are we ready to give our life to him by "dropping the nets". So anyways, afterwards, I hitched a ride back to UCSD with Sam Ip (only then did i realize that I forgot to bring my dress shoes w/ me for church on Sunday) but before getting back to school, made a detour at In And Out. Had an awesome time just fellowshipping and talking w/ Nick and Sam, learning about interesting facts, histories of CBC, and just hanging out. So anyways, I'm back in my dorms about to "study" hehe....I'll keep you all updated soon... |
| December 7, 2002: Woke up at 12, went to review session for ethnic studies for 3+ hours, came back, ate a snack/dinner, tried to figure out cell phone, studied some more, ate my official dinner, studied some more....studied some more....did nothing but stared into space....studied some more....okay....you get the point. That's what I've been doing for most of the day. Study. |
| December 8, 2002: Yet another day, yet more final studying...but i think it's all pretty good. I mean, I feel pretty confident in all my classes (hopefully), and everything seems to be going well. Today, woke up early for church, hitched a ride off Connie yet again...hmm....she's such a blessing in the lives of soooo many people, went to church, learned about the accuracty of the New Testament in Sunday School and had an awesome time of worship. Though the words were not there, and I was physically tired, I really enjoyed the music, service, and Pluke's sermon on reacting to surprises. Okay, that's it for today. I'll have more when I have more time. :) |
| December 11, 2002: YAY!!!! Finals are over!!! I've finally finished them all, and I get to relax for the next three weeks until second quarter starts up again in the new year. Whew....I'm exhausted....okay....that's about it. Sorry for the lack of updates recently, I haven't really had the time to update etc...Anyways, my suite did secret santa today, and got a really cool book, "The Gospel According to The Simpsons"....hehe...I'm gonna enjoy reading this... :) Be prepared for more updates in the future, cuz it's smooth sailing....hopefully :) Anyways, I'll be going home tomorrow, and it will be an awesome three weeks of break. So if any of you ever see this, IM me or call me on my cell to do something. But as of right now, good luck everybody w/ what other finals you might have, for those of you still in high school, continue to work hard, and to anybody else (that doesn't know me) and who might be bored and just reading this....get a life! :) |
