| Son killed,father hurt in Corlim mishap. OLD GOA,SEPT.27 - Ref.: www.oherald.com A 30-year-old motorcyclist from Cumbharjua died,while his father sustained severe injuries,when the motorcycle they were riding collided with the truck near Sygenta Gate at Corlim near Old Goa at about 3:30 p.m on Monday. According the sources,the truck which was coming from Ponda,repotedly took a sudden turn near Sygenta Gate without the driver indicating any signal.In the process,the motorcycle,driven by Pandhari Vithal Nail,which was proceeding towards Cumbharjua collided with the truck. The truck has been detained by Old Goa police,while the driver who fled from the scene after the mishap is absconding.Old Goa police is investigating the case. |
