You may find that a “boxing” match is going on in your mind. The opponents are the spiritual worldview versus the materialist world view. To your own surprise, the boxing match was not over in the first round, with the materialist reasoning quickly knocking out the spiritual reasoning. It appears that the match could very well end up in a draw.
Just as your mind begins to accept a draw, the spiritual worldviews comes out of nowhere with an unexpected “knock-out blow” that puts a definitive end to the match. This blow is called prophecy. The bible contains prophecy througought it, and all of it has come true.
So as your mind sits exhausted in its search for truth, just remember, “by the way, all the prophecy of the bible has come true in history over the past 10,000 years.”
