WELCOME!!!!
After a couple of tries, we're hoping that "Bridgette's Brain Child" has the kinks ironed out of it.  We have, in the past, encountered difficulties in the transfer areas as far as getting it to other people's computer's intact.   It was the honorable Charlie Kennedy & his lovely wife Pat that informed us that the text was becoming blurred when they tried to link us up with the city website.    Bridgette was right on it and supposedly knew what the problem & the answer might be.  So if you are having problems with the recieving of the website, please let us know.  We're still in the learning process.

We are well into the busiest time of the year and we will let you know that this year is no different...maybe even more so with the construction of the Dog Agility course pulsing through some of our veins; it is indeed, a labor of love!!!

The popular Devil's Lake Trip is upcoming and this year should prove to be the biggest & best trip ever with lots of workshops, learning experiences & fun times to be had by all.  Please click of that site to get a general view of the format of our campout & all it's opportunities.

..And of course, there is the ever present hustle & bustle of fairs.  Once again, we will be actively participating in the success of both Elroy & Monroe County Fairs & I would, at this time I would like to thank all the volunteers from the club (both parent & children) who give of their time so that these kids can have the wonderful experience of fair competition.  Keep up the good work!!!!

...A COUPLE WORDS TO PARENTS EVERYWHERE...
In this hectic time that fair always proves to be, remember that sportsmanship is learned behavior.  Winning graciously is as difficult as loosing graciously & believe that everyone must pay their dues, & loosing graciously appears to be tougher on the parents.  If a trophy doesnt come this year, glean what experience that you can from the time and apply it towards next year's competition.  Avoid the temptation of doing your children's work for them just because it might not be as perfect as you        would like it  Even when children are showing animals we see the parents doing the practice of that animal & thinking that they're helping.  You are doing your child no favors because it always shows up in the competition.  If I catch a parent correcting a child during judging, I will personally escort them out of the ring.  Parents continue to underestimate the capacity of their children.

...A WORD TO THE KIDS GOING TO FAIRS...
If you plan on loosing...you will.
If you plan on winning...you won't.
Just do your best, do better than last year & enjoy the ride!!!

HAVE A GREAT SUMMER & COME TO THE ELROY FAIR!!!
