Hi, I'm Stephen Cook. Home is in the Lower North Island of NEW ZEALAND close to Plimmerton.
Check out the VIEW from the Sundeck looking South toward Paremata and across the inlet. Morning or night, this is a view you can never tire of and visitors always comment on it. On a clear night it's something else. Come visit and see for yourself. Overseas visitors sharing my hobbies are especially welcome!! - With a bit of notice, you might even score a bed for a night or two. And it's only 20 minutes from the Inter-island Ferry.
My interests are (although not always in this order);
MÄRKLIN Model Railways (the world's best)
A-M-S (Auto Motor Sport) SLOT CARS (Via a brief introduction)
Classic Machines and Equipment (not yet active) - Includes IBM Selectric Typewriters, my Wurlitzer X7 Jukebox, Hamilton-Beach Milkshake Mixers, old NCR Cash Registers
Just Silly Stuff....
And of course, MY FAMILY
JANUARY 2008 - Announcing the tragic and sudden death of our wonderful Son, Steven (Jnr). He will live on in all of our hearts for ever
LINKS - to some of my favourite sites on the Web
Help for finding old school friends - Thinking about someone you remember from school? - these are some sites I've found and used...
Language Translations (VERY helpful for my European friends)
GOOGLE - My favourite search engine - very fast and good results
eBay - Online Auctions - this link will list any items I am currently selling
You can EMAIL me at...: steve(dot)cookee@attglobal(dot)net (replace (dot) with . - fight the spam!!)
** GUESTBOOK FEATURE REMOVED 20 Mar 2008 - Sorry but I got sick of deleting idiot unimaginative Spam messages left every 30 minutes in my guestbook, and Yahoo who don't actually understand their own technology reckoned they could not prevent it from happening.
You'd only have to read my complaint/suggestion to them, and then their response to see that the replies came from a standard script that does not require any thought, intelligence, or imagination.
If you would like to contact me, I'd love to hear from you, I'm sure you'll figure it out.
