This page is devoted to my 65 Barracuda. I don't have any pictures of it, yet. It won't be paid off, therefore it won't be in my posession, till June 15, 1998. I do have the fendertag information and I'll write up the general particulars for now.

It is a 1965 Plymouth Barracuda with a 273, 2bbl engine. The transmission is a console shifted A904 Torqueflite. It is copper colored with a black interior. It has factory AC, windshield washers, and an AM radio. Nine inch drums and a 7 1/4" axle round out the major points. It needs to have the front bucket seats recovered, a new headliner, new carpet and new armrest pads, as well as a thourough cleaning to bring the interior up to snuff. There is some surface rust bubbling the paint and a bit of bondo to remove, these items along with a repaint will bring the exterior up to snuff. The engine needs a tuneup and the valves adjusted. The master cylinder needs a rebuild, most likely the whole braking system as well. There are a few electrical gremlins to fix. The radio, wipers and blower do not function. I haven't looked into this yet, it might be a simple fix but I am considering replacing the entire wiring harness to fix all those 33 year old connections that are just waiting to fail. One odd thing is that there is no driverside mirror and it doesn't appear to have ever had one. As soon as I get the car in my hands I will post pictures and update this page.
