| Carn Euny is an ancient Iron Age village settlement. It includes the remains of several courtyard houses and hut circles, dating back to the 1st Century BC. The supposed hauntings include sightings of an old woman in a cloak, with plaited hair secured with a bronze pin. Her description would date her to around the time of the settlement. Strange lights and mists have also been seen here at night. Peculiar atmospheres are sensed and there are persistent rumours of witchcraft and pagan worship being carried out at the site. There are several other figures, which have been seen inconsistently. |
