| The eclipse inn is haunted by a one Dame Alicia Lisle who housed two rebels from the monmouth rebellion. She was caught whilst hiding them and sentenced to death by hanging by Hanging Judge Jefferies. Her last night was spent at one of her homes, Now the Eclipse Inn, and her execution platform was built outside her bedroom window on her last night. The following morning she walked out of her bedroom window and into the hangman's noose and it is her ghost that haunts the Eclipse Inn |
