PLOT:
An animated film about a raccoon named R.J. (Willis) who owes a debt of food to the bear, Vincent (Nolte).  Along the way, he meets a group of forest creatures who are just getting up from hibernation, and stacking up food for the next winter.  R.J. convinces them to go over the hedge to the civilized world to get junkfood, when he is really using it to pay back Vincent.  Things get interesting when one of the houses calls up the exterminator, and a turtle named Verne (Shandling) learns that R.J. is using them to help himself.

REVIEW:
This was Steve's first animated film and he voiced the character of Hammy.  Hammy is one of the most hyper squirrels you will ever find and Steve was absolutely perfect for the role.  There were many times during the movie when you couldn't even recognize Steve's voice.  The movie as a whole was very enjoyable and funny.
