DEER VALLEY, UTAH
Deer Valley was a great resort. I emphasized the resort part because I felt compared to Alta and Snowbird, Deer Valley was more about the atmophere than the increadible terrain the previously mentioned resorts had.  Don't get me wrong, there was plenty of challenging terrain at Deer Valley also, I just felt the extra I spent for the ticket here would have been better spent at snowbird for the tram.  Valet parking is cool but I am not too worried about it.  If you can't walk from your car with you ski/snowboard boots on, shouldn't be skiing here anyways.  The lodge and the food was great, expensive but great.  I would imagine with the upcoming Olympics all the Salt Lake area resorts are going through some changes so Deer Valley will only keep getting better.
