Season Seven Analysis ^_^
Adrift II - Well, what a weird continuation. Yes, I know it's just a show, but there were just so many little things that weren't believable at all in this episode. I felt it was worth mentioning, even though the episode was pretty okay overall. No real surprises (like Harm was really going to die in the ocean!). Here are the cheesy things that I saw during the movie: survival in the cold cold ocean for that many hours, the radio buoy landing so near Harm that he could reach it and radio for help, Harm using his flare gun (yes, I know it could have been water proof but still), being able to raise his hand in the air after that many hours to fire the gun, interesting method of resuscitation by Skates (wonder why those kinds of things don't work during real life situations), the weird memory loss of specific details. What I did like is that Mic left - yes I felt bad for him, but still I want Harm and Mac together forever. BTW, that whole phone conversation was just soooooo shippery ^_^ (I loved it!). "Come to me...." ** sigh**
Answered Prayers- Well I like this Christmas episode even though it was pretty much brainless (as in no real action). It was cute and everyone had a happy ending. The kiss was cute - kinda continuing the friendship bordering on romantic relationship. And what was with the half smirk/smile that was on Harm's face. Interesting reaction!! The whole Webb thing was also funny!! Anyways it was an admirable, feel -good episode that should give us all warm fuzzy feelings inside. Happy Holidays everyone!
Season 7 Finale - Well, well, well.....the season is over......and I know I'm late with this analysis but I've been busy. Well....I was definitely surprised with that ending....didn't think that Bud would the connecting point between seasons, but this will definitely make the next season more interesting. It will be an interesting story arc....and since there are different personalities on the show....there will definitely be interesting reactions considering how they are all so close. Singer for one might rejoice because Bud is "out of the way". It will be interesting to see how they will pursue the Harm/Mac relationship next season since they didn't emphasize it this last season. It was definitely more action packed this season which is a good thing....hopefully it will keep people interested in the show for years to come. Remember, we don't want Harm and Mac to begin and romantic relationship yet since there is a possibility that this show could last 9 or 10 years - GO JAG! I'll be looking forward to the season premiere in the fall.......Well until then......check out all those JAG websites for updates.
Lifeline ( My New Favorite Episode) - I have to devote a whole category to this episode. Why you ask? Because Shippers rule!!! and this was the shippiest episode ever. Quite a few questions were answered and quite a few are raised. In this episode we are for sure that Harm is in love with Mac - whether he just realized it now or a while ago - you could just tell. He answers quite a few questions about why he did not choose to tell Mac about his feelins in this riveting episode. And what can I say? THE KISS of the century occurred in this ep. Hello - everybody listening (or reading in this case)! I truly think Mac meant it to be a goodbye kiss (why she would choose to kiss Harm at her engagement party is beyond me - but hey details details ^_^). Harm thought otherwise because (in the words of another movie - "While You Were Sleeping?") - he leaned to continue the kiss. Come on if he didn't feel anything why in the world would he lean? Anyways I'm looking forward to the implications of this kiss next season - especially in relation to the ending of the dreaded Mic/Mac wedding.
Season Finale: Adrift- Gosh darnit - I hate those cliffhangers. Now I'm going to have to suffer the rest of the summer just to wait for the season premiere in October or November. Anyways - what an attention grabbing episode. Even though the ending wasn't as a "surprise" as CBS or whoever claimed it to be - it was still good. I liked how it ended with that shinig beacon scene. Can't wait for the season premiere. I loved the opening scene (the teaser)!! In the scene between Mic and Mac (where she's by the window all broken up about Harm being in the middle of nowhere without) I just thought it was heartless of Mic just to stand there - granted even if she was thinking of another man - come on - Harm is her best friend - and Mic is supposed to be her fiancee - shouldn't he still comfort her if he loves her sooooooo much.
Funniest Character - I still think Bud's the funniest - althought the Tiner/Gunny relationship is hilarious as well.
Evil Villian - Come on Palmer definitely wins hands down!!!
